Charlton Park, Canterbury, Kent
The Charlton Park home for boys and girls was opened in January 1946 in Charlton Park, a sixteenth-century manor house at Bishopsbourne near Canterbury.
The home closed in December, 1966, with the then residents being transferred to Woodlands home in Canterbury. Following renovation and several changes of ownership, the property is now a private house and event venue.
