Pampisford Hall, Pampisford, Cambridgeshire
At the outbreak of the Second World War in September 1939, Pampisford Hall in Cambridgeshire was used by Barnardo's as an evacuation centre for boys. It closed a year later in September 1940. The house is now a private residence.
