Old Roar House, St Leonards on Sea, Sussex

In 1938, Barnardo's established a home for boys at Old Roar House on Old Roar Road, Silverhill Park, St Leonards on Sea. The home was closed in 1940 then re-opened in 1944 housing boys aged from 5 to 16.

The home was closed at the end of April 1972. The house has now been demolished.
