Hood House, Woodford Bridge, Essex

In 1973, Barnardo's opened its Hood House home on Roding Lane North, Woodford Bridge, at the western end of the Garden City site. The home accommodated up to eighteen mentally handicapped children.

The home was closed in 1986 and its activities transferred to four houses in Redbridge. Hood House no longer exists and housing now stands on the site.
