The National Children's Home (Action For Children) Today

Today, Action For Children — as the former National Children's Home (NCH) is now known — runs 650 services across the UK, working with over 250,000 children, young people, parents and carers. Still working in partnership with the Methodist Church, the charity's services include adoption and fostering, family support, and the running of specialist schools. Action For Children also has international links in Afica (South Africa, Lesotho, Botswana, Swaziland, Nambia and Zimbabwe), the Caribbean (Jamaica, Grenada, Barbados, Dominica) and Central AMerica (Belize and Honduras).

This website contains separate pages on the many individual former NCH homes. To locate a particular one, use the Search facility towards the top of this page, or view the entire list arranged by location.
